Another throwback. This time a portrait of my frie

Another throwback. This time a portrait of my friend @dominicsedgwickmusic from 2008. Painted over several sessions, this was one of my “breakthrough” portraits i.e. better than anything I’d done before. From the look of this, it was done on shop bought cotton canvas, when I was still using student grade paint.
