When does it start?

What Art materials do I need?

I’ll show you exactly what material I use, brushes, colours, mediums, palette and easel.

All exercises can be done with a just few brushes and colours. You’ll be introduced to a few different limited palettes, that make colour mixing much easier.

What if I don’t use oil paint?

While the rules for proportion, light and dark and colour can be useful for any medium, this course is designed for oil painters. Acrylics or water based medium behave differently.

If solvents are an issue, I provide info about water-mixable oils and other non-toxic options.

What if I’m an abstract painter?

This course if for artists wanting to master painting from life. If you’ve never done it before and are eager to learn, you’re in the right place.

Can I practice at home?

Absolutely. Each exercise uses simple still lives set-ups that take up very little space. I’ll show you exactly how what to do.

But if space is really tight, I’ve got reference images for you.

How much time does each exercise take?
